A Demo Reel Appears!

I've finally put together a new demo reel! I got to animate a ton of awesome, unique characters and creatures for Brütal Legend, and I had a an absolute blast on the project. This is but a small collection of my work from BL, as well as some from The Force Unleashed and its DLC level The Jedi Temple:

Brütal Legend Tour Bus takes First Place at Red Bull Soapbox Derby!

Oh man. What a weekend.

A few buddies from SCAD (Sean Feeley, Andrew Cook, Luke Nalker) and I spent the past few months busting our humps building a cart for the Red Bull Soapbox Race down in Los Angeles modeled after the Tour Bus in Brütal Legend (out in two weeks!!). The race was this past weekend, and we tore it to shreds! In front of a crowd of over 110,000 people, and one kilometer, two jumps and a giant berm later, Team Ironheade came out of the race not only with a bad-ass looking cart and first place, but also the new record for top speed at the Red Bull races- 46.1 miles per hour! And that's on a downhill, gravity powered cart. CRAZY!

Check out these sweet photos of our handiwork:

Also, here is a video of the event. We appear at around the 1:29 mark.

There were a number of fantastic, mind blowing carts there, and we met so many awesome people! It was an awesome event, and I look forward to attending future races. For now, it's time to relax.

ROAD TRIP!

So a couple of buddies (Sean, Luke, and Andrew) and I have submitted a design for the Redbull Soapbox Race that will be taking place down in Los Angeles this year, and we've been accepted! We're pretty friggin' stoked about it, and have been hard at work building our racer in time for the race on September 26th.

What are you guys building, you ask? Why, the Tour Bus from Brütal Legend of course.

If you're interested in our progress (and watching computer art kids learning to weld), we'll be keeping a blog! Head on over to http://brutalbus.blogspot.com/ to see photos and videos of what we've been up to as we attempt to build this most epic bus.

Demo Reel!

So my reel has been hiding in password-protected land for a long while, but I figure it's about time to dredge this bad boy up and show you all what I've been up to for the past couple of years. This features work from my time at LucasArts Entertainment on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and a little bit of my in-game stuff from the DLC level The Jedi Temple that was released shortly after I left the company.

Stuff from Brütal Legend coming soon. :)

Well hello there, internet.

Man! It sure has been a while hasn't it? I figure it's about time I stopped screwing around and really got on top of this whole internet thing. Since work has finally started to calm down I'll be a little more active on personal projects. In short, you'll be seeing a lot more of me, dearest internet.

In the mean time, here's a peek at what I've been working on.

Impending Website Overhaul

So I've been really busy working on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed over the past year animating in-game and cinematics characters. It's been quite an experience, and I've had the opportunity to work on some pretty exciting things:

Kazdan Paratus

However, while I've been screwing around with my newfound Jedi Mind Tricks, my website has fallen into quite the state of disrepair. That is about to change! Now that I'm finished on the project and things have sort of slowed down at LucasArts, I'll be redesigning the site and preparing it for a most unleashed dump of new work. Stay tuned.
